We have done this to our 13 years old daughter as a gift about 4 months ago. She loves it! She slips through the area on their own. It has also cut down on my car-pooling.
She rides it to school at least once a week and her after-school activities.
If the battery is empty, while she was on her, she uses only her legs and skin from home, as if it is a non-electric scooter. It is easy enough to even up the stairs.
It was easy, the charger, we had to pick, because the entire disription. It came in just a few days ago, brand new in the acquired children were excited, they could use their scooter again. They were not happy when the charger wire broke and she could'nt ride it. All is well again.
