Just bought this for my tall son who is turning four soon. It is mostly steel except for the yellow plastic wheels. husband put it together in minutes. It does need to be assembled. Fits my son perfectly, but might be too small for a larger child. Box came beat up, but all parts and peices were intact. The plastic transformer head is just a single thick peice of plastic, but might break during a good fall. It was a good value compared to toys r’ us, where everything just cost more, and I got free shipping too! Happy with purchase. much better quality than the cheap chinese no-name knockoffs I found in this price range, all the brands cost more.

Arrived within a broken box. The shield was broken into 3 pieces, which i had to tape them together. It seems that the box was damaged before leaving warehouse, because only the original box was broken while the shipping box was in good condition. The vertical bar is so thin that it does not seem strong enough. Basically not height-adjustable.

This scooter is great for the first time road warriors and speed monkeys. Easy as pie to get your racer out the door or around the kitchen.
