Razor iMod Scooter Review

Razor iMod Scooter

Overall Rating: Razor iMod Scooter

This is a cool ride for your preteens. My daughter saved up her babysitting money and I added a bit more for her X-mas present. She loves it. Unfortunately for bad weather she hasn’t had enough time to ride it but as soon as weather permits she will be off riding. Good size too. She is tall and can fit in it just fine. Totally recommend it for your kids. Only down fall is that it is pricey but if your kids can save up for it why not. We are only kids for a while.

dissapointed – Eva C. Ray – Pinehurst, TX, US
We recieved this imod on May 10th, it is now May 25 and the relay is not working which means the imod WON”T RUN! We haven’t had it that long for it to be broke and then the tires are always flat. My husband said they came with bad tubing in them because from the very first time my daughter rode the thing, the tires went flat. So, for as much money as you pay for something like this…you would think you have a little bit longer before the “breaks” come. Especially since we’ve only had it a couple of weeks. I am going to call the 1800 razor number and see if they will rectify the stuff. Hopefully this will have a happy ending.

I would not purchase this again – Kelly M. Mcintyre – NJ
I purchased both a Razor Pocket Scooter for my son & a Razor Imod Scooter for my daughter for Christmas. Due to weather(snow/ice) they did not get to ride them til March. We assembled and kept them in our house and when the weather cleared my son took his out and it worked like a dream! Lots of pep and easily manuevered. My daughter’s (the more expensive) has not worked yet. Because it was past the 90 day warranty Razor refused to replace. They offered a repair but I would need to take it 50 miles from my house. NO SMALL TASK loading a heavy moped into a borrowed vehicle as it is quite large and driving it 50 milkes each way with no promises it will be able to be repaired. Not to mention (2) 1+hrs on the phone while they try to walk you through repairs/taking it apart! For a brand new item, I am sorely dissappointed! My kids 6 and 9 have Razor power swings, kick scooters, Rip Sticks etc and this is the worst experience I have had.

ZooooooooooooM! – Spencer S. Maxwell – Hanford, CA United States
Wow! fast and fun! My 10 year old loves it. Well made but the decals could have been put on with more care. I wish they had an option for a larger battery pack or one that was easier to swap out quickly for a spare (back-up). (for longer riding times between charges)
