Razor E200 Electric Scooter Review

I am a kid so this might not make any diffrents to you. I got the e200 for a end of the school year present. We had bought the e200 from Amazon. When we recived it every thing looked fine. We accembled it and the next day I got on it. It felt like it was going 15 mph. So I thought that was just as fast as it was going to go. When I twisted the throttle the rear end made a vibration noise, I thought it was just side affect and of cource it was.
About 15 charges into it, it stoped making the vibration noise but, now I notised that it was only holding its charge for about 30 min (average minutes it holds a charge of 1hr 30min) so I asked my dad to see what was going on with it. I had charged it and it was still going slow, he said my back tire was low. So we tried to air it up but wouldn’t hold the air. So my dad took it to a tire shop to get fixed. The tire shop said that the tire had to be replaced. The tube was not installed correctally at the factory. So we went on the enternet to order new tires. When we got the tires they were the wrong tires. So now were still waiting for the correct tires.
Over all great scooter but, you might want to get it two extra tires just in case.

Razor E200 Electric Scooter Specifications
Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E200 electric scooter. An ultra-quiet chain-driven motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle accelerator, the E200 is the perfect device for teens and adults wanting to speed over to a friend’s house or head to the park. Unlike Razor’s E300S and E500S scooters–which offers a seated ride–the E200 requires you to stand while zipping through town. But standing in the E200 isn’t a problem thanks to the full-size deck and frame, which are custom designed for ages 12 and up. Once you’re on the move, the variable-speed motor ramps up to 12 miles per hour–fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk.
The long-life rechargeable battery, meanwhile, lasts for up to 45 minutes of continuous use per charge (with an eight-hour charge time), so you can easily cruise to the grocery store and back without running out of juice. Other details include 8-inch pneumatic tires for a smooth ride, a hand-operated rear brake, and such accessories as a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools. The E200, which offers a maximum weight limit of 220 pounds, is backed by a 90-day warranty.
The buyer and rider of the E200 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

Gift for ann 11-year-old, two years later – Silkennightmares – Arizona USA
I bought this for my oldest daughter for Christmas 2 years ago.
The biggest complaint she has about it two years later is the time it takes for it to recharge and the loss of power as the charge runs down.
We have not have a single problem out of the scooter and it even can double our oldest, now 13, and our youngest, now 7, with no problem.
The tires were a concern when we bought it from some of the reviews, but we have had no issues with them other than having to reinflate them once in while, like you would have to for a bicycle or car. For battery life and scooter maintainance, I would follow the recommendations in the manual and keep it inside in colder weather. We live where is is usually hot, but still store it inside the house to keep the cooler winter air from compromising the scooter.
Two years later, it is still a hit with the kids and they are on it a lot.(Read: Very frequently, except in the summer when it is 100+ degrees!)
Good scooter for tween – NC Mom –
I bought the E200 for my 12 year old daughter. She loves riding it around the neighborhood. It handles well and has a good battery life. My 10 year old son also rides it with ease. Only problem is going up some of our steep hills – they have to give it a little help with their foot, like a non-electric scooter, to make it up a big hill. Other than that, it’s been played with a LOT for almost a year now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more in the neighborhood this Christmas – all the kids around here like taking turns riding it.
Loads of fun – NSB – Bluegrass, KY
Got this scooter for my son’s 9th birthday and he and his friends (and me!) have had loads of fun with it. Only problem was caused by him hitting a driveway bump and knocking the chain off it. It was easily corrected by a kind neighbor, not sure who would have repaired it otherwise – a bike shop? Anyway, he and his friends love it and now half the neighborhood is requesting one for their next birthday/Christmas.
Very Sturdy – Squirrel Dad –
I bought this for my older daughter (11) and purchased the E100 for my younger daugther. They really enjoy riding their scooters around the quiet streets in our neighborhood. The scooters hold a charge long enough for them to get their enjoyment for the day and then go on the charger over night. The E200 comes with a steering column that folds down making it easy to transport. The E100 does not have this option and is a bit harder to fit in a crowded car.
