mini kick Scooter – YELLOW Overview
Designed for kids ages 3-5, the mini kick is the quality choice in children’s scooters. The mini kick won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold and the Platinum Award Seals for Best Toy in 2009. The mini also was named ‘Best Pre-School Scooter’ by Toy Report and ‘Best Outdoor Toy’ by Learning Express Stores. What makes the mini unique is its ‘lean-and-steer’ design, which allows children to use their body weight to control the steering, giving them the feeling of ‘surfing’ the sidewalk, as they curve from right to left, almost like a skateboard. The lean-and-steer adds an element of fun and control that young children love. The mini’s 3 wheels provide greater stability, making it easier for even the youngest kids to learn to ride. Great for their balance and coordination. The wheels are Italian-made of highest quality PU, especially for micro. They provide a smooth glide, making the mini almost effortless to ride. The wheels also make for a quiet ride, a joy for parents and children alike. The mini can be ridden inside as well as outside, because the polyurethane wheels won’t leave black marks on the floor. The deck is low-to-the-ground and large enough for both feet, making it easy for young children to hop on and off and to switch from pushing, to just enjoying the ride. The ‘spoon’ brake at the back adds additional control – kids like the control and also because it looks just like the big kids’ scooters. For parents, the mini scooter’s light weight (only 3.3lbs), means it’s easy to pick up and carry when need be, and makes it easier for the kids themselves to pick up and maneuver. Note: – the mini can hold weights up to 60lbs, when used for cruising, but was not designed for jumps or tricks. For a scooter designed to do jumps and tricks, please see the amazing mx park stunt scooter!

Mini Kick Scooter – PINK, for kids age 2-5, the quality 3-wheel scooter
December 27th, 2009Mini Kick Scooter – PINK, for kids age 2-5, the quality 3-wheel scooter Review

My twins just turned 3, and after seeing some kids at the park riding around on Spiderman and Radio Flyer 3-wheel scooters, the constant refrain from both of them was, “let’s get a scooter!!” I researched a TON and was leaning toward the Razor Jr., but after reading the reviews that it was just too slow for some kids, and that all the child could do was push push push, I decided not to take a chance on it. Then I saw this scooter and it sounded great. I called the company, Kickboard USA to clarify the weight issue, and was told that it goes up to about 60 lbs. Okay, great. I also asked if they thought my son, who is a little behind in motor skills, would be able to manage this scooter, and after much discussion (great customer service!), I decided to buy two of these and give them a whirl. I bought blue for my son, and I knew my daughter would want pink. Also ordered two Bell helmets. Amazon shipped both right away.
